• Nottingham Varsity Ice Hockey Match

Posted on Mon 5th January, 2009

The Nottingham Varsity ice hockey match (University of Nottingham v Nottingham Trent University) will be held at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham, on Monday, 9th March 09.

The BP Nottingham Varsity Series, is arguably the biggest in the UK, attracting over 5,500 spectators in 2008 and raising thousands of pounds for local charities. Notably, ice hockey is now the biggest event in the Series, this year we hope to see a full house (7,500)!!

The Mavericks would be pleased to welcome other BUIHA clubs to join in fun. There is much than ice hockey on offer: Battle of the Cheerleaders, Ice Dance Performance, Pee Wee Hockey demo game, AU Presidents shoot-the-puck comp and more.... including a post-game party at the Oceana night club.

For the first time ever, we'are able to offer groups exclusive use of one of the corporate suites in the Trent FM Arena bowl. Priced at just £75 (12 people) and £85 (14 people), you can enjoy the event in style. Each suite has a fridge which can be stocked with beverages and there is also a waitress service for pizzas etc (additional costs apply).

Whilst you do not have to queue to enter the suites, we regret that we can not offer car parking. However, there are a number of local multi-stories in the city, just minutes walk away.

Hurry, as they are selling fast!!!
