UEA Avalanche

1 - UEA Avalanche Up 3

W: 4D: 0L: 0GF: 44GA: 15GD: +29PP%: 25.0PK%: 100.0
Pts: Chu (13) G: Chu (9) A: Chu (4) SAV%: Birkentals (0.87)
UEA Avalanche
The Avalanche haven't played cup hockey yet, but at least now they seem to have played a couple of home games. However, their warning shot has to be burying (Avalanche - burying that's type of funnies you have to look forward to) the Nottingham Mavericks D side just one week in advance of Nationals. This has to be the year for them in the new look champs.
Manchester Metrostars C

2 - Manchester Metrostars C Down 1

W: 0D: 1L: 1GF: 2GA: 27GD: -25PP%: 0.0PK%: 0.0
Pts: MacKinnon (1) G: MacKinnon (1) A: Dzhangirov (1) SAV%: Deakin (0.93)
Manchester Metrostars C
Manchester certainly have had a knack of making finals over the years when their train gets rolling. With Mr Manchester Hockey (in both looks and personality) Matthew Rohani guiding them there is no reason they won't go deep, well except if it is Rohani that is guiding them :P.
Imperial Devils C

3 - Imperial Devils C Up 5

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Imperial Devils C
The current Tier V champions! I think it will be a big ask for them to defend the title this year, but you have to give the Devils their due they will not go down quietly. The semis are about as far as I see them getting.
Sheffield Bears E

4 - Sheffield Bears E Down 2

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Sheffield Bears E
There is one constant in the BUIHA and it is not Andy Miller as the Grand Overlord. The constant is that Sheffield have ridiculous amounts of players and when it comes to Nationals they normally reach the knock outs. As the most experienced E team and no doubt with a goalie from a higher division playing out that will know a thing or two about hockey they will be a dark horse. The major concern for them is getting by the other contenders in that group.
UCL Yetis C

5 - UCL Yetis C New Entry

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
UCL Yetis C
With their B team really doing a number in Division 2 South I would expect that the C's will have been picking up a lot of pointers from them and no doubt there will be a few folk pulling the splinters from their shorts after riding the pine with a point to prove. They are certainly hopefuls for the finals and maybe more.
Northumbria Kings D

6 - Northumbria Kings D New Entry

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Northumbria Kings D
The Kings organisation has thrived in non-checking hockey over the last few years picking up trophies in back to back to back years. It would be strange to think that we would not see their D team at least challenging at the business end of the weekend.
Hull Ice Hogs C

7 - Hull Ice Hogs C Up 3

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Hull Ice Hogs C
Hull's B team have not had the best year, but that was in the highest non checking division, so any players who have experienced that this year may be the difference for them. However, with current Tier V champions Imperial and my favourites for the group, Manchester, against them it could be a real dog fight for the semis.
Southampton Spitfires D

8 - Southampton Spitfires D Down 1

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Southampton Spitfires D
I have learned never to rank Southampton teams last, as they always make me look a fool, so I am intentionally avoiding that. Their non-checking teams have had varying degrees of fortune this season, with their B team finishing first in Division 1 South and their C team coming second last in the division below, so it is really hard to read how the D team will fair. I think they will struggle to fly out of this group, but they could always make me a fool again!
Nottingham Mavericks E

9 - Nottingham Mavericks E New Entry

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Nottingham Mavericks E
Not to be outdone by the Bears we see the Mavericks enter an E team for the first time in my memory. It is maybe a little harsh to see them as no-hopers, but with their D team's only outing being a 24-4 spanking I cannot see how their E team can fair well enough to amount much of an assault on anything apart from the bar this weekend.
Birmingham Lions D

10 - Birmingham Lions D Down 1

W: 0 D: 0 L: 0 GF: 0 GA: 0 GD: 0 PP%: 0.00 PK%: 0.00
Pts: N/A G: N/A A: N/A SAV%: N/A
Birmingham Lions D
The Lions D team will like struggle to pick up a W this weekend. When the C team is finishing with 12 goals scored and 173 conceded you can't hold out much hope for the feeder team. You really have to feel that a goal, let alone a win will be worth its weight in Lannister gold (I had to get one GOT reference in).
